Use of plant:
The plant’s function is to produce burning fuel from used oils through a process known as “transesterification” effectively converting used oils into burning fuel.
- The plant begins its process by receiving and storing old oil in four 40,000-litre tanks.
- Subsequently, the old oil is transferred to a feeding tank that supplies five identical furnaces, each equipped with four reactors (burners). Each furnace is meticulously controlled by its computerized control box.
- The product then moves to the Dung Plant, housed in a 21,000-litre tank. At this stage, water and crude products are separated.
- From the Dung Plant, the crude product undergoes a final filtering process. The stage comprises four lines, each equipped with ten filters, managed through a comprehensive computerized system.
- Following the rigorous filtering process, the resulting burning fuel is pumped into four 40 000-litre holding tanks, meticulously prepared for sale and collection.
Throughout the entire process, numerous sensors situated throughout the plant diligently monitor crucial metrics such as pressure, temperature and flow rate. This data is of paramount importance to ensure the smooth operation of the plant. Furthermore, all sensors and processes are meticulously overseen and managed from a central control room, equipped with seven computers and monitors for comprehensive monitoring and control.
