DynamicAuctioneers

Movable assets

Machinery, contents,
and everything loose.

Dynamic Auctioneers is a South African auction house for movable assets: vehicles, plant, machinery, office and restaurant contents, furniture, art and collectables, as single lots or a full clearance, anywhere in the country. A thousand bar chairs, a workshop of plant, a fleet: if it has value, it can be sold.

Key takeaways

  • Vehicles, plant, machinery, office and restaurant contents, furniture, art and collectables: single lots or a full clearance.
  • Send us the list and a few photographs. You do not need professional ones at this stage.
  • A signed mandate confirms the goods are yours to sell. For company assets we take a resolution.
  • Online bidding means the room is national, so where the goods sit does not cap what they fetch.
  • Some stock is sold by private treaty rather than on auction: see our movable assets for sale.

Buying, not selling

There is stock on the floor right now.

Not everything goes to auction. Plant, vehicles, equipment and the occasional oddity are listed for sale by private treaty, and you buy them by getting in touch rather than by bidding.

How it works

You photograph it. We do the rest.

  1. 01

    Send us the list

What it is, roughly how much of it there is, and where it is standing. Photographs help enormously. You do not need professional ones at this stage.

  2. 02

    We value and advise

We tell you what it is realistically worth at auction, and whether it is better sold as one lot or broken up. Sometimes the answer is that it is not worth auctioning, and we will say so.

  3. 03

    Mandate

A signed mandate confirming the goods are yours to sell. For company assets we take a resolution. This is not a formality: it is what stops a sale unravelling later.

  4. 04

    Catalogue and sell

Photography, lotting, catalogue entry, and the auction itself. Then payment, release of goods and a written report.

Common questions

Movable assets, answered.

Is there a minimum value?

There is no hard floor, but very low-value household clearance is usually better handled by a general clearance auctioneer than by us. Phone us and we will tell you honestly which you need, including when that is not us.

Do you collect the goods?

Logistics are arranged case by case depending on the volume, the value and where the goods are standing. We coordinate collection and release as part of the process.

How do you prove the goods are mine to sell?

A signed mandate, plus whatever ownership documentation exists: invoices, an asset register, registration papers for vehicles. For company-owned assets we take a board resolution. This protects you as much as the buyer.

Can I sell just one item?

Yes, particularly for higher-value single items like a vehicle, a piece of plant, jewellery or a work of art. Single lots are placed into a suitable scheduled auction.

Got assets standing idle?

Send us a list and a few photographs. We will tell you what they are worth and what we would do with them.
